3-Days Tsavo East and Amboseli Safari from Watamu

Day 1

Begin your adventure at 6:00 a.m., departing from your Resort or Apartment towards Tsavo East Park, Kenya’s largest area covering 13,747 square kilometers. En route, you’ll be enchanted by the fascinating landscapes and have the opportunity to catch glimpses of everyday life of the local population residing in traditional African villages. After two and a half hours, you’ll arrive near the park entrance, where you’ll have the chance to observe crocodiles along the banks of the famous Galana River up close.

At 9:30 a.m., we venture into the park for the first safari.

Lunch and relaxation await you at the lodge or campsite of your choice, both conveniently located near a water point where animals come to quench their thirst.

The afternoon safari continues until sunset, and you’ll return to the lodge or campsite to enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

Start the day at 6:30 a.m. for another safari. At 8:30 a.m., we bid farewell to Tsavo East and head towards Amboseli Park. After approximately four hours of travel, you’ll arrive at the lodge or campsite of your choice for lunch. Here, you can admire the majestic Kilimanjaro and revel in its evocative presence amidst the savannah landscapes.

At 3:00 p.m., we set out for a new safari, returning to the lodge or campsite after sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

During the day, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a Masai village, interact with its inhabitants, and learn their traditions.

Day 3

Start the day at 6:30 a.m. for the final safari. Around 8:30 a.m., we bid farewell to Amboseli Park and return to your resort, stopping in the town of Voi for lunch. On the return journey, you’ll cross the same road where the movie “Out of Africa” was filmed.

You should arrive at the hotel around 5:00 p.m.

Accommodation options in Amboseli include AA Lodge, Sentrim Tented Camps, Kibo Lodge, and Kilima Lodge.
